What will one of our hospital rooms look like? Nurses and physicians are working on the design of your room or the place you or a loved one could spend time while receiving care at St. Mary’s Janesville Hospital. We want it to be comfortable, functional and accommodating!
A prototype of the 50 hospital patient rooms has been and will continue to be tested by medical staff and community members. This testing phase is underway right now for future rooms for both the hospital as well as the clinic.

With the Interstate-90 cloverleaf in the distance, construction crews with a lot of talent and a little luck are making headway on what will become the new St. Mary’s Janesville Hospital and Dean Clinic Town Square area with garden. On the bottom right of this picture, you can make out the area cleared for that square. You can also see Dean Clinic steel and the clinic elevator tower on the right.
April showers bring May flowers as what is in the ground makes its way up towards the sky! So does the progress on the Dean Clinic and St. Mary’s Janesville Hospital. Work both below the surface and up above is well underway this spring.

Spring is in the air and the structure of the new St. Mary’s Janesville Hospital and Dean Clinic in Janesville is taking shape this month! Forms are up and covered in plastic to protect them from any cold spells we might encounter during the months of March or April, but construction crews are seeing the sun more frequently.
Above, the main elevator and stair tower are clearly visible. In all, you can pick out one stairwell, two public elevators and one service elevator! That’s progress!
